The Oak Point trail is a 2.5 mile loop starting and ending at the parking lot. It runs through mature forest and varied ecosystems until reaching the aptly named Oak Point. The point is notch of land that extends to the bog. The site is a former logging camp. When you’re done at Oak Point and think you might be ready for more hiking, the Nature Conservancy’s Sunkhaze-Bradley corridor hiking trail head is about 25 yards north of the Oak Point parking lot.
